Introduction

My nickname is Cabe. I created it in 1996 as a way to mask my identity. Nowadays I don't really care if I disclose that information. The nickname came into use as I was playing an mmorpg called Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds. My character, named cabeGOD, is pictured next to the title of this blog. I played Nexus from 1996 until 2003. A decade or more later I graduated with a B.S. in Information Systems & Technology at Weber State University, and was then married in Bountiful. I created this blog as a way to express myself, as my previous websites/blogs were solely for animation or cartoon drawings.

I currently work as a Software Developer in Northern Utah.  I transitioned from a Software Quality Assurance Analyst as I decided I liked programming a lot more.  As a programmer, it seems that everyday is a new adventure.  While I hated story problems as a kid, it's basically what I do on a daily basis as an adult. I enjoy the challenge.
